The Industrial Turnover Index is a conjunctural indicator whose objective is to measure the monthly evolution of the activity of the companies that are part of the industrial sector based on their business figures. Together with the Industrial Production Index and the Industrial Turnover Index, they constitute three basic indicators of the industrial situation.

Note: For the adjusted series of seasonal and calendar effects, the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia has carried out a methodological modeling approach in accordance with the guidelines of the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). In this way, when its significance has been verified, the necessary outliers have been introduced in order to model the effect that COVID-19 is having on the series.

As data from subsequent periods become available, it will be analyzed whether these outliers have to be modified by other types of intervention according to the behavior of the different series.
