The Hotel Price Index is a statistical measure of the evolution of the set of prices applied by the entrepreneurs to the different clients who stay in hotels in Spain. It measures, therefore, the evolution of the prices of the sector from the supply side. The main objective of the Hotel Sector Profitability Indicators is to have ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room). These two variables, together with the degree of occupancy by rooms, constitute an important source of information for hotel establishments that allows them to evaluate their pricing policy.
