Longitudinal Statistics on Survival and Longevity in Andalusia, 2002-2016

Longitudinal Survival and Longevity Statistics in Andalusia, 2002-2016 is the first of a series of new statistical dissemination activities carried out based on the exploitation of the Longitudinal Population Database of Andalusia.

This publication provides the necessary data for a detailed investigation of population survival during the period 2002 to 2016 based on the rich residential and socio-demographic information collected in the Population and Housing Census of 2001 and 2011.

Two microdata files are offered, both for 2001 and 2011: one for people and one for family homes. In addition to these, there is a third file that we will call Andalusia as a whole without territorial disaggregation, which has been generated from the housing file. This third microdata file can be downloaded directly from the website and allows interested parties to know the information available in the study and perform analyzes that do not require territorial disaggregation. If more detailed territorial information is required, access to any of the other two samples can be requested by making a request to the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia through the contact form.

Each of the three files is in turn made up of two files: the one of people or houses and the one of follow-up, that are united by means of the corresponding identifier.

Details of content, structures and the data dictionary can be found in the document Microdata files: structure and data dictionary.
