Longitudinal Statistics on Reproductive Biographies in Andalusia, 2002-2019


Longitudinal Statistics of Reproductive Biographies in Andalusia, 2002-2019 is the second in a series of new statistical dissemination activities carried out from the exploitation of the Longitudinal Population Database of Andalusia.

This publication provides the necessary data for a detailed investigation of fertility during the period 2002 to 2019 based on the rich residential and socio-demographic information collected in the 2001 and 2011 Population and Housing Censuses.

A sample of people has been extracted from the census files for both 2001 and 2011. For family dwellings, only the sample from the census file for the year 2001 is available.

In addition to these, there is a third sample that we will call "Andalusia as a whole" without territorial breakdown, which has been generated from the sample of dwellings for the year 2001 and from the sample of people for the year 2011.

This third sample can be downloaded directly from the website and allows those interested to know the information available in the study and carry out analyzes that do not require territorial disaggregation. If more detailed territorial information is required, access to any of the other samples can be requested by sending a request to the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia.

Each of the samples is made up of two files: the one for people or dwellings and the one for follow-up, which are joined by the corresponding identifier.
